Welcome Back

Elmhurst School for Boys

6th September 2012 | Headmaster's Blog

I can hardly believe what a busy summer, we have just had.

The excitement of the Olympics and Paralympics has exceeded most people’s expectations.  It was wonderful to see how many boys had been to see events during the summer, I am sure those memories will live with them for a long time.

Following all the efforts at school to be awarded our Olympic School status a group of boys and staff went to see some of the Olympic Hockey during the holidays.  We have just been invited to take 10 boys up to the Olympic & Paralympics Parade next week!

We have continued our programme of refurbishment during the holidays and I am particularly looking forward to the opening of the Senior School Library, which will be a much improved facility.

I wish all the boys the very best of luck in the coming year in their new classes and I look forward to catching up with all our parents over the coming days.

Please don’t forget the Social & Curriculum Evening on Wednesday 12th September. I hope to see you there.
