Zoo 4 You visits Little Elms

Elmhurst School for Boys

24th June 2016 | Little Elms

We had two special events in Little Elms this week. First, was a visit from Zoo 4 you. Our ‘zookeeper’ Sam was lovely and she brought a great variety of animals from a Hissing Cockroach to a Meercat. The boys were very brave and held most of the animals including the Python and Bearded Dragon. While the boys enjoyed a pet of the animals, Sam talked to us about what the animals ate and how they live in their natural environments. So informative and fun.

For our second event, Madame Hargreaves introduced us to our very own authentic Petit Dejeuner. The boys really enjoyed preparing and then eating their special treat. I think the photos speak volumes. While the boys were preparing the food, they learned the French words for bowl (bol), Chocolate (chocolat), bagette, tartinez (spread), melangez (stir) and mangez (eat).
