The Elmhurst School for Boys Upper School Choir took part in Voice in a Million last night.
The Voice in a Million project was established in 2009 as a promoter of school singing events, with an under-pinning message to raise awareness for children in care and on the importance of Adoption and Fostering, both in the UK and worldwide. Voice in a Million presents an opportunity of a lifetime for school children from all backgrounds throughout the UK to unite in song and perform in front of their own family and friends and other members of the general public.
This year, choirs from many schools combined to create the largest choir in the world of 5000 children.
Whilst the boys didn’t arrive back home until the early hours of the morning and were given permission to arrive at school later the next day, they all described what an amazing experience they had and expressed their desire to do it again.
