World Clean Up Day
This week, our assemblies focused on a theme of global significance: World Clean Up Day. The energy and thoughtfulness displayed by the children as we discussed our shared responsibility for the planet have been truly inspiring.
We discussed the core principles of repair, reuse, or recycle whenever we can, rather than throwing things away wastefully, and how taking care of our environment is a role we all share, which begins with our everyday choices.
The children showed a wonderful understanding of how important it is to look after our environment. They connected the global challenge to their immediate surroundings, grasping that the most impactful change starts at home. We hope they maintain their enthusiasm for keeping our school grounds and community tidy.
Nurturing this sense of stewardship and responsibility for the world around us is a vital part of the education we provide. Seeing our pupils connect their personal actions to the health of the planet is a powerful reminder that we are raising not just great pupils, but future citizens committed to positive, sustainable change.
