Today was an incredible day of cricket for all involved! It was the Swiss team‘s first game of their tour, and they chased a very reasonable 108 runs in 20 overs, with Aryan earning the top score of 33 runs. The nail biting match saw some great fielding by the Elmhurst boys, with the Swiss side needing just four runs to win. Captain Aaron then stepped up to bowl the final over in which he first bowl a wide to add to the tension, and then with two balls left, they only needed one run to win. Aaron brilliantly bowled a dot ball followed by a clean, bowling out their captain off the last ball! The boys erupted in celebration of the tied result. It was a pleasure hosting such an amazing displaying of cricket today, and we look forward to doing it again next year.
