This week, Elmhurst was buzzing with excitement as 21 children, aged 7 to 11, participated in our special Summer drama club event. These talented young actors signed up to star in a performance of the classic tale Wind in the Willows. They were hard at work rehearsing to end the week with a fantastic show.
Each day was filled with laughter, creativity and lots of enthusiasm as the children brought the charming characters of Rat, Mole, Toad and Badger to life. They practiced their lines, perfected their singing voices and learned about the magic of the theatre. The energy in the room was contagious and it was clear that everyone was having a fantastic time.
On Friday, the moment they’ve all been waiting for arrived as the children showcased their hard work and talent by performing Wind in the Willows in front of their friends and family. It was a memorable show full of joy and heart.
We’re so proud of all the young performers and seeing the smiles on their faces as they took to the stage.
