Offers from local authorities are typically sent via email, post, or through an online portal. Double-check your spam or junk folders to make sure you don’t miss anything important.
Step 2: Carefully Read the Details
Take your time reviewing the offer. Note which school has been allocated and make a record of key dates like the start of term and induction sessions.
Step 3: Weigh Up Your Next Steps
If you’re pleased with the school offered—fantastic! You can begin preparing for this exciting new chapter. But if you have doubts and are concerned that the school does not offer the rounded education experience that an independent school can, then it’s not too late.

Our head, Mrs Marriott, will explain the extent of our offer and the EDGE that Elmhurst brings to ensure the beginning of your child’s education is a brilliant one.

While independent education may seem financially out of reach, many schools offer bursaries, scholarships, and flexible payment options. At Elmhurst, for example, fees can be split into eleven interest-free monthly installments to help with budgeting. You can view the breakdown of our fees here.
